About Midnight Blood

Midnight Blood (MB) is a New World of Darkness (nWoD) role-playing game, written in a play-by-post style. Read over our Character Creation, House Rules and Writing Tips threads in the General House Rules forum to get a good idea of how play-by-post works, and the preferred style of gaming for MB. The creator of Vegas Rage, (Old World of Darkness - oWoD – “Werewolf: The Apocalypse”) decided to branch into nWoD when White Wolf came out with ‘Werewolf: The Forsaken’(WtF). The lure of a dark-side setting in an everyday world was appealing, and efforts to maintain the level of realism blended with supernatural have proven successful. A note to those considering joining MB: This site is held in high esteem by the creator and the StoryTellers, and as a whole, taken very seriously. Only quality writers will be considered as players, and excellent grammar, imagination, and the ability to adapt is necessary. While dice and rules do come into play, a strong sense of adventure, a willingness to take chances with one’s character and creative writing figure highly and are the main focus of MB. While we are not yet at the stage to accept character concept submissions, we will gladly answer any questions and look over any comments or suggestions you might like to send us. MB is run by very dedicated people and inquiries will always receive a personal reply.
